Do you ask your kid to be a man? Maybe homicidal violence and suicidal violence has something to do with it?

This is a fabulous video that demonstrate how certain phrases we use can play in to the minds of our kids. We need to start thinking what values we need in our kids the most. Is it the toughness or the lightness? Toughness or the sensitiveness? Have we separated certain qualities seen among girls as feminine stuff?

“Be a man” is something we’ve all heard at one time or another, even a few of the women reading this right now. Being a “man” in that sense means something completely different to me (and maybe you, too) than what that phrase implies. It’s felt everywhere. It’s time we make changes, starting from within ourselves.
