Australia’s Melbourne is another city that is certainly worth visiting for sports fans as it has plenty to offer. The Australian Open is held there every year and it is the first Grand Slam of the season as it takes place in January. If tennis is not the sport of choice, there is the Australian Grand Prix and plenty of cricket on offer throughout the summer months, whilst the waves can be some of the best for avid surfers.
